Walking around with bird dookie on my head.....totally clueless
We went to dinner the other night....me, my aunt, my cousin.....a "girls night" out of sorts. We met at a busy part of town and had to wait an HOUR for a table at a Tex-Mex place. It was a nice night and there was a bench under a tree in a pretty spot overlooking the highway, so the wait didn't seem all that bad. We get ready to go in to our table and my cousin says...
What is that on your head? Then she flicks it and a little pill sized round-ish thing lands on my shirt. It looked like a little grey capsule.......we didn't think at all about what it might be since it seemed solid and the shape gave no clue. My first thought was a twig from the tree. Other things that drop from trees was what it actually was!
I went to knock it off my shirt and swiped bird doo down my shirt......the entire CROWD (in unison) went EEEWWWWWWWWW!!!! I've never had the feeling that a crowd of strangers were sympathetic to my circumstance than that moment.
I had hand wipes in my purse that were left over from a crab leg lunch thing I went to a couple months ago and it cleaned up pretty well using those. I feel like I'm walking entertainment for anyone that pays attention to whats going on most days.

I was standing out in my back yard and heard something hit in the grass near me. I looked up and a vulture was flying overhead. I knew right then that I must be living right. that would have had to be nasty.

ive been out in the gulf fishing when the only gull flying that day would land one on me or my boat. sometimes you are just a poop magnet.

Memories of such incidents take me back to my days in the USAF. I was in the cockpit of an aircraft being towed into a hanger. The wing walker guy on my left was looking up when a precocious pigeon dropped its load. Hit that poor dude right square in the eye! That stinky substance had some coarse grain to it and the fellow ended up having to wear an eye patch for the severe scratches he received!

Reminds me of an early February morning on the family rice farm in central Arkansas a few years back. Probably a thousand geese had been stirred-up off a nearby field and were approaching at low altitude. As I enjoyed the spectacle, I noticed a sound something like a rain shower just beginning, in addition to the noise of all the honking. It took me a little bit to realize what I was hearing, then run under the car port. Fortunately I was pretty much in time. Never saw anything like it before or since.

Seems lots of people now days have doo on and in their heads and they are not even aware of such, especially politicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Term limits would help remove lots of that doo. (doo might come to be a political correct term)
