ID This Magazine
I got this in a box at an auction. I thought it was 22 magnum but that round just slips up through the lips. Tried a 223 but it is too big. Any info will be appreciated.

22 hornet? Might be for a winchester 43 or a stevens 322.

Stevens/ Savage 340/ 380 series also 23D if in hornet.

Not 340. Looks like Stevens 322/342 in 22 Hornet.

Mine has "22 Hornet" stamped on the bottom plate. Don't know if Savage made them in 25.20 or 218 Bee but I'd expect they'd all work. 22 Hornet for the 23D would be my answer.

A 22 hornet shell fits perfectly. I will check out the models suggested.

I have looked at the 23D, 322, and 342. None of these has the follower coming above the body on the front top like this does (second picture). Still looking! Thanks!

The lips may be off or spring in backwards.
It's a magazine for a Savage 23 in 22 Hornet.
