These airport clowns are one of the reasons I hate flying anymore.

Meanwhile senile Joe has given billions in weapons and ammunition to the Taliban. Yeah, I feel much safer....

Long ago, when my daughter was about 10, I flew to Virginia with my her. TSA singled her out for a bag check. At first they wanted me to stand away as they rummaged thru a child's backpack. I didn't.

I wonder if there's a larger, more useless group of government idiots? My guess is no. I suspect there's a maximum IQ test required for being a TSA employee.

Most of the federals bureaucracies are useless, IE. the Dept of Energy. Even worse, most are now full of politically bias DEMOCRATs with a mission to wipe out any political opposition.

Certainly the TSA has its issues and I am no fan, but we have not had a similar 9-11 event since they began.

I haven't flown since the Great Covidiocy started, but I wonder if TSA goons still stare dutifully at your photo ID while comparing it to your fully-masked face?

I was in Kalifornia on a business trip when 9/11 happened and traveled for business almost daily for a few years after that. Before 9/11 I used to take a flask on a flight so I didn't have to pay $4 a drink............no problem. After 9/11........of course, no flasks............however, I was able to slip past TSA after 9/11 with a couple of 12 Ga. shells that had fallen from my desk into my computer bag/briefcase (seriously). I didn't know they (the shells) were there until airborne. So much for TSA.

I don't travel for business anymore (thank the Good Lord)............but the few times that I have travelled............TSA is a JOKE. They hire ANYONE...............and I mean ANYONE.................a bigger bunch of GED accomplished race diverse people I have never thought that I would ever see.

    TSA is a JOKE.

Looks like that blind squirrel found a huge nut. TSA security theatre is a complete waste of time, money, and airport space. But it's government run so did anyone expect any different?

Gee, at least they are probably not collecting unemployment or welfare....maybe.🤑

They do not. They ask you to lower your mask. I like to drool when I lower mine. Speeds the process significantly.

Thank you sir, that made me laugh.

I've only been on a plane once since the TSA took over security and hope never to have to again.

Alot of non-federally unemployed people are paid by the taxpayers too. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.

I flew every week for years. Shortly after 9/11 most of the TSA people in Philadelphia airport became Muslim. What a joke! I won’t fly again unless they remove the mask requirement. I still have 200k miles in my account and am trying to figure out how to use them without flying.

Flew with my 85 YO aunt back from La. Two replacement hips set the machines off & screeners didn't want to look at her doctors letters. They held us for 20 minutes while they wanded her repeatedly. Meanwhile, I don't have to describe the types that passed by without a second look.

Can you imagine the TSA operating in say 1875. Exuse me Doc Holiday but that knife exceeds the alowable length to get on the train...Bam bam bam sorry Mr TSA dude there were too many bullets in my gun.

The only reason I will fly is I cannot drive there or I am getting paid and so far I haven't flown in about 9 years when I stopped working.

    TSA is a necessary complication.

Right now, a major concern are disruptive passengers who act out. One way to combat that, would be to ban all alcoholic drinks @ the airport, and any in-flight alcohol.

I haven't flown in well over a decade, so I don't even know for sure if alcohol is still being served on a flight. When I did fly, alcohol wasn't on my drink list.

TSA is a PITA, but an unruly / disruptive in-flight passenger really rubs me the wrong way. 🤬

TSA has nothing to do with passengers once they are on a plane. Those retards only pre-flight screen passengers. They are useless.

Even here in Texas.............too many of the TSA and other airport workers seem to be Somali.................hhhhhhmmmmmmmm

I have an alternate solution. Issue everyone on the plane a hammer. Some jack wagon gets frisky pound him.

I agree a gun would be best, maybe a 410 shot pistol because we all know a 410 will kill anything and not penetrate the aircraft walls.

TSA is redicoulous it should be done by either the airline or airport no need for USGOV.

You think it's bad now, let the airlines and/or airports take over, and it'll be a real mess. 😜

Why do you think that? You think a USGOV organization is better than a Private party who has an invested intrest in being not only proficient but also being efficient.

Maybe there would be some class restored to the airline industry like it was in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Not just moving trash from point to point. I wouldn't be opposed to a dress code to fly, having sat next to trash in wife beater shirts, floip flops and shorts while scarfing down a whopper. IMO people who are treated like crap act like it. Treat people like humans and be respectful would go a long way. Act up and get hammered.

    My 2 cents.

I am happily retired, and do not have to get on airplanes. I WAS flying about 150 times a year. If you work with explosives, TSA is going to be a problem

If you have frequent flyer miles you don't plan to use, you can donate them to Fisher House. One of the 10 best charities in the US.
