It's a lot of 13 pistol magazines, so shipping is only $1.54 per magazine. I figure it will take a Medium Flat Rate Box. Postage alone is $15.50. Then I have buy bubble wrap, tape, a marker to write the address and then I have to drive it to the post office. $20 seems pretty reasonable to me.
If I look and believe the shipping is too high, I just keep looking. Real simple.

I've been doing the same thing for a couple of months David. Flat rate and selling magazines cheap. Then I get asked about my (flat rate) shipping charge.

You should hear the nonsense they have to say about the ammo shipments we deal with. I specifically say in the auction.....you are very welcome to send over a UPS or Fed Ex shipping label yourself, but if we make a label there will be an upcharge. They STILL fuss and moan about what "I'm charging" to ship.

Amazon and the other humongous retailers have caused all internet buyers to think free shipping is the norm. Perhaps if you offer to sign him up for the new and improved Nunn Prime service for $150, then he can get free shipping for the life of his membership. I wonder how much stuff he can buy in a week?
