S&W GRIPS - Real Stag or Fake?

I struck out on the last grip question that you had, and maybe this time at bat I can put the ball into play. Just looking at the pictures, I'd guess that they are genuine, due to the fact that the porosity of the grips are different on the back side of each stock, and that is hard to replicate, as well as each side is different. I have always heard that the best way to determine stag vs. plastic is to take a hot pin, and stick it in a place that will be hardly noticed. Genuine stag grips will smell like burning hair, while fake ones will just melt a hole in them.. As before, you get what you pay for.... Either way, those are some nice looking stocks.

OK, let's make it a trifecta, real, bet the ranch on it.
