Look like round butt K/L frame plain clothes magna's with silver washers (73-85?), so any round butt K/L framed gun.

Two different opinions. Anyone clear it up? Approximate value?

Yes. Chief Special, Chief Special Airweight, Model 36, Model 37, Model 63, Model 60, Model 38, Model 49, and so on.

No need for clearing up the ID. My assessment is correct.

For value, do a comparison search for similar grips under closed auctions.

$25 to $40 is the asking prices on the auction side. 2 pair brought $67 recently. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/910019743

Difficult to put a "value" on S&W grips. The stamped # is the serial number of the gun that it came on from the factory. Some folks would prefer a genuine "parts" pair with the frame size stamped on them with black ink, or a pair with nothing on either grip. Or, maybe a grip left on the desk where ink was spilled.
