    In the city of San Jose you must obtain liability insurance and pay a $200 yearly tax stamp for every gun you own. Trust me, you haven't even scratched the surface of retardism that is only know as California.

    Ah yes, punish the criminals by... taking it out on the law-abiding, legally-owning citizens. I'm sure that'll work well.

    At least it seems even a substantial part of the left don't agree on this policy. When one of the most left-leaning political forums on the internet are collectively against this, you know it's a bridge too far. San Jose to tax gun owners, will confiscate firearms for noncompliance : politics (reddit.com).

    Which is why I wouldn't ship a sharp stick to California. Their stupid laws change every fifteen minutes and I refuse to waste my time trying to keep up with them. I feel bad for the decent folks living there but there are planes and trains and automobiles leaving every day.
