I knew she had been seen around Teton village and Wilson, then a couple weeks ago the sightings went quiet.

I told my Bride that I wouldn’t be surprised if the next place she was seen was on Fall Creek or Munger mountain because of the elk gut piles from bow hunters. Which is 12 -14 miles south of her last sighting.

Going to interesting how this fall plays out for her and the four two year old Cubs, that a lot of food daily, whether it be berries or meat.

    Last evening they were at the foot of Munger mountain on the east side in the horse pasture by my buddies house.

    This is over or around the mountain, depending on which way she came from where the video was taken.

    She is 40+ miles south of her den on Pilgrim creek, makes wonder if she plans to disperse them before she dens up?

    So mule, do bears typically return to the same den each winter?

    I think a lot of them do, especially the sow Grizzlies here .

    Grizzly dens are difficult to find because they come out so much earlier than the blacks, and snow is still way deep at that time.

    I know where there are several black bear dens that get used yearly, same bears or Cubs of the original occupants I do not know .

    This old gal 399 is around 20 + years old, I have seen her and her tracks for years in early spring coming out of Pilgrim creek when I would be going to and from ice fishing on Jackson lake.

    Nowadays it is a circus up there with photographers and bear chasers, stacked up along the road to get first glimpse of her.
