first one wasn't bad.......

got my second shingles shot yesterday, first hurt a little for day or so, but this second one DANG!!! my arm feels like I got kicked by a mule. I watched my mother suffer through the shingles and if this shot will keep me from that I can put up with a sore arm for a few days..................

    It was the same here: first one...meh. Second one tender for a few days. Soon over with, and MUCH peace of mind.

    I got mine last year….my Dad suffered greatly with it for years….The first shot was OK..the 2nd one hurt for days and I felt like crap for two days…..hope it all goes well for you

    I got my second shingles shot and a flu shot at the same time. Hurt like hell.

    Me too. I had shingles about when I turned 60 and do not ever want them again so I should know better.

    I got the shingles shot a few years ago.Last winter I had a place break out on my shoulder.The doc had recently put me on some new meds and I thought it may be some sort of reaction to them.Went to have it checked and she said it was shingles but since I had the vaccine it would be a mild case.She was right because my shingles were about the size of a tennis ball and lasted a couple of days.
