was visiting a cousin of mine and noticed his landlord was having a time starting his mower I asked my cousin if he thought the guy needed any help, it was a riding mower. I went out back to see if he did and he was trying to push it up through the yard by himself. stopped and talked a few minutes and took a quick look at it, had plenty of gas but just cranked and cranked. I pulled the gas line off the carberator and no gas, after a few seconds it started to run again and pushed it up on the carberator and it started up, I don't rightly know if the right term is vapor lock or not but I had an old simplicity that would do that when it got hot either the gasline would squeeze off or the gas would bubble and go dry. I put a new line on mine and wraped it in pipe insulation and it ran fine from then on. Told him to do the same, he thanked me and we got to talking and found out he has almost 50 acres and he doesn't hunt, he knew about our hunting club loosing the land as my cousin is a member also, long story short, am headed out about noon to let him show me his land and he is gonna let me put a blind up to hunt this fall, even gave me a key to the gate and wanted to give me a key to his cabin but I still don't feel right about that, we shall see how it goes.

sometimes things just fall into your lap, gonna take the granddaughter out so she can drive the side by side around his place as he shows us his property and a place to set up a stand/blind. I was just about ready to give my new crossbow to my son, figured I wouldn't get to ever use it.
