One of my coworkers had the virus early on. Only reason he knew it was he got tested before trying to travel to Hawaii. Never any symptoms but says his sense of smell is still not back to normal. Sounds like you're bouncing back. That's good!

I’m thinking there’s got to be a way to monetize this. Is there a stinky cheese eating contest or something?

I'm on day 6 and finally getting better, just a slight cough, and fatigue. I was stupidly running to garage sales, wal-mart and menards without a mask. Since I'm 66 I was taking multi-vitamins, C, zinc, and melatonin, and i think the immunity stuff helped me a lot. Wife was not so fortunate, she had to go to the hospital and was admitted, got here blood oxygen level up from a 92, she may come home tomorrow. This stuff can knock you back, and for us older folks can be life threatening. I just don't have an appetite, not hungry, and my taste & smells are ok. glad your doing better.

Glad it sounds like you are both getting better. As for her hot sauce prank, paybacks can be fun. When you start singing at the top of your lungs, "Ring of Fire" in your best Johnny Cash voice while she is trying to sleep it may get the point across. 😁 Bob

Day 7 here, 3rd time since Jan 2020. Just fatigue now, one trip up and down the stairs, and I'm done doing anything for a couple of hours. Never lost sense of smell and taste the first two times, but this time everything is off. Nothing tastes like it's suppose to, and I keep getting strange smells I can't locate. A gift from the 6yr old across the street, went through her whole class in 48hrs, but they were all back in class in 5 days later. Didn't affect the charge on her batteries, but man it sure drained mine.

hope the best fore you and you have a fast recovery

as for us its has been a up hill fight and still going on

wife and I are seven days in had tested positive a week ago Monday by Tuesday I was looking for the trucks that ran us over

sick does not even come close to how we feel , I truly thought I was done for a few times and I know she felt that way she was in tears several times

I went last Wed. for the monoclonal antibody infusion  three minutes into it they called it off my heart rate ( EGR ) was doing tricks they had never seen before so the ER they haul me topped off some fluids sent me home ( sicker then I was ) never finished the infusion later that day my wife had it done about 20 minutes after getting home she was a mess . called ES squad took her to another hospital she had pneumonia kept her two days released her and next day we took her back they said they should not have released her her blood oxygen is low so back on oxygen and into the hospital ( last night ) . I will guess a couple more days stay but as long as they get her better .

she was on me the first night when we had the squad haul her in ( I knew she was sick when she ask us to call the docs had her scared about me so get back in so I went they gave me meds to calm down my stomach . said I was "OK " as could be expected no much they could do for me just have to ride out all the pain and sickness at home and sent me home but still to sick to do much , I barely eating and drinking any thing I get sick thinking about eating any thing . but i am more concerned about my wife and oldest son

my oldest son for the last week has been our savior countless trips and hauling us to the hospital waiting us to be addmited or released and picking up drugs but now he is sick for the last couple days ( not much of a surprise )

a lot more to it but tha'ts the high lights

I would like to say I would not wish it on any one but , I can think of countless politician's 😈

oh we live out in the country some what about 14 mile's east or west to the nest town it took at least a 1\/2 hour to round up enough people and a squad to get here and take her in all the local communities 3 maybe 4 of them no one was answering the calls or too busy all volunteer but one about 18 miles away have some paid responders they cam also

Wow, it seems to be hitting a lot of us. When i was down with it so was my oldest son and his wife, she caught it at work not from me. My son and i both developed pneumonia but fortunately stayed out of the hospital.

I wish all of you the best.

Yes, but I've had much worse head colds.

I seem to be on a tiny recovery I can tell just a tiny bit of improvement each day nothing great but better

my wife still on oxygen and struggling with even walking from her bed room to the couch , my oldest son in the early stages not able to eat and feeling exhausted

it would be great if they would allow me a few minutes and a base ball bat maybe a chain saw for effect 😲 alone with the POS group who developed this bug .

I was hoping someone with more stars could edumacate me with some explanation, in words that a mere 3 star guy could grasp. Cause I got nutten.

I understand it but to not have time to type out the explanation in layman's terms.

Hey, you guys quit picking on poor firstharmonic. When he gets the super secret, never to be mentioned to lowly 3 star folks, four star decoder ring, he'll understand.

Oh, I almost forgot - Owles we already covered that in the last 4 star meeting and you don't have to bring it up again. Sorry about your well but after all that beer you provided, we thought it was the latrine! Geeze, do we have keep apologizing? Bob
