    I hope he's going to be OK.

    Must at least feel well enough to travel, so that's good.

    But, I was not aware you could just go buy a test kit for chinavirus.

    +1 on wishing him well.

    I saw the tests at Walgreens the other day when I was picking up allergy meds;

    I wasn't aware of them before either. Bob

    Link didn't work - google Quickvue covid test.

    Fortunately, he has his son with him, I doubt if he is feeling well enough to drive anywhere. He was in NC when it hit him saturday.

    Sounds like going to the hospital was the worst thing he could have done for himself. The time might have been better spent at home resting. The hospitals have created their own staff shortages, in many cases. Glad he's on the mend.

    UPDATE:

    I finally heard from my brother today.

    He wrote: There were 6 of us that went down at the same time. I think one of the granddaughters brought it home from school. I was 2 weeks in and was starting to feel better and pushed it too hard. Ended up the sickest I had been to date. Back to profound fatigue at this point. Still no regret not vaccinating, but am ready to feel normal.

    That was sure a load off my mind. 😀

    Back in June my wife was back in the hospital with her cancer problems for the 8th time this past 12 months and we were in a room in the emergency room for over 2 days before they had a room in the hospital to open up. Strange thing about that was the hospital was full but not from people with the virus. They just had a rash of everything else going on at the time. People must have been having surgery that they had put off since the virus attack last year.

    Ever try sleeping in a straight back chair for a couple of days? That's what I did while I waited by her bed in the emergency room. At least I got to stay with her 24 hours a day while she was in the hospital that week.

    Smitty500mag I hope you both are doing well. I wanted to like your post for the last sentence, but didn't want anyone to think I liked it because she was back in the hospital, you are a good man.
