I don't think we've had a genuine hostage crisis since 1986 with Reagan’s Arms-for-Hostages deal (something the old GB hardliners denied ever occurred). The last things that the Tailband need are arms, we left them with plenty. What they do want is the $8 billion in foreign reserves which we have frozen so that they cannot access it. Let's see how Buckshot Joe handles this one.

...Theses are Americans by law, but they are also naturalized citizens, not American born...the ragheads should let them go, and a few MOABS on these goat herders might just do the trick...of course the senile wussie in the White House wont do that...I would bet that people around him have to remind him every few minuets "you're the President"...

I will just about guarantee that the way it will be handled is NOT the way we are told it was handled.

It's probably just me but I find it hard to feel sorry for passport holding people who had 7 months warning to leave a country that despises Americans and fail to do so. I suppose they were waiting on a free trip on a government plane to bring them home 🙄
