Will pizza cost less?
And Piestro is innovating how and where we purchase our pizza. They've designed pizza-making robots to construct your favorite pies in a matter of minutes: three minutes from start to finish, to be precise. With speed and efficiency like that, Piestro's profit margins are estimated at 48% (versus 22% in traditional pizzerias). And pizza experts around the world are taking note: Piestro's robots have received $580M in pre-orders via commercial contracts that are taking Piestro global. And you can invest in the possible upside today.

Well the robot can make it and the robotic car can deliver it to the county dump.

I read that the robots are made in India. They will not offer ground beef as a topping.
😕

Sure, the price of pizza will plummet! Just like Ram trucks made in mexico now cost 1/2 as much as a ford or cheby.

No, it won't cost less.

I beg to differ. Companies do not have to buy health care insurance for Robots. You dont have to pay half their Social Security and Medicare along with unemployment insurance.
No FMLA, vacation time, and no government mandated paid convalescence for a sex change operations. They dont have menstrual cycles. They dont spread Covid or have to wear masks.
They dont join unions, meaning no strikes.
No affirmative action or diversity requirements to worry about and they dont SUE their employers,
There of thousand of reasons to invest in them.

You are exactly right chiefr but the question was "Will pizza cost less".

I expect it will go like the K-Cup business model. Around 2 years of bottom price product (K-Cups were around 15 cents a pop when released).
Once the distribution and brand was global although the economy of scale heavily favored Keurig, the prices of the K-Cups continued to rise, today the price is 70% more than when the product was released.

chiefr, your list is extensive and very accurate but you missed a really big item. Them robots wont lay out!! 😁 They will never be late for work or call in to say I don't feel good!

3 minutes from start to finish???? are they making them in the oven........

Biggest upvote for a robot? THEY SHOW UP FOR WORK EVERY DAY.
Ask anyone that has employees- the biggest challenge is getting a worker to show up. Local Sheetz is hiring at $15.50 an hour- and still has openings they can't fill.

Where do you find a millennial to pull up his pants and fix these robots?

Unless these robots are programed by Italians, those pizza's are just going to be so-so American wanabe pies! 🙄

...Sounds like the robots are right up Dominos alley...
...I doubt the small Italian family owned and operated pizza shop I like, will use any of the robots, so I'll continue to buy their pizzas...they are fantastic...

I agree w/ small Italian family owned business, Texas1911DE. My favorite is Aggatucci's in Peoria, IL. Had my first ever pizza there in 1956 and go back every chance I get even though I'm 200 miles away now. I've known 3 family generations now.
