I think this is a pretty cool.
I realize this isn't the best quality revolver but it is in good shape and having all the documentation from
1963 and 1964 is cool.

what do you mean "not the best"? direct quote for the Herters catalog. "our customers know when they see Herter's name on any product , it's the best or our name would not be on it".

I know that the Herters single actions were made in Germany by J.P. Sauer and Sohn and were pretty good quality. My brother still has one in 357 that he got in the early 80's. I wonder if your 22 was also made by them? My Herters catalogs all date from the 70's up through the time Cabelas bought out the small remainder of the company that only sold waterfowl hunting supplies. Over the years the catalog went from phone book size to the size of a small magazine. Around here I still have some of their fishing tackle and a few gun stocks. I do miss reading their yearly catalog filled with the "worlds finest" products. Bob
