I sent HeDog an email two months ago and asked him why he wasn't posting. He said that, he thought there were too many bigots on the forum and he wouldn't be back.

Very sad for me I have been an "internet buddy" of HeDog for 20 years on this forum. A couple times I was driving the big rig through Albuquerque, and I had his phone number, and I called him, and we were going to get together but it never worked out. It is hard to meet up with someone when you are in that big truck and all the schedules you have to adhere to. I did much enjoy driving through the New Mexico desert near Albuquerque, just fantastic scenery.

I guess, he is gone. Nice knowing you, HeDog.

...Dale is a good guy...the "bug man"...we talked a few times but when I broke my phone, lost a lot of numbers and his was one...he had been around here for years...hope all is going well Dale...

...A LOT of good people have come and gone in 20+ years, I feel fortunate to have gotten to know a number of them...

Just got back on and dude had sent me a message on the inbox here asking if I was okay and now I learn about this? I guess he won't see my answer back. Bummer.

    Rattlers are born alive.

Seen a whole bunch of little ones together awhile back.

I do not bother them if they stay away from my stomping grounds.

I've caught some of them and moved them to a safer place. Some were Diamond backs and big. (some people tell me I'm crazy for doing such. I tell them maybe so, but I'm not a democrat)

I give them a free pass as long as them give me one. I should have been bitten quite a few times but for some reason they seem to like me enough to not chomp down YET.

There are not as many snakes in my neck of the woods as compared to 20 years ago.

I do not give Copper heads a free pass.

I do not give Copper heads a free pass.

Neither do I , they all die as they are very aggressive, imo. Bigot or not copperheads and me don't mix.

He (HeDog) was very knowledgeable when it came to wildlife. Hey, there are gigots everywhere today, just got suck it up and keep moving forward. Going to miss his expertise.
