    Didn't they ever watch The Simpson's? It was a running gag for years for Bart to call Moe's Tavern and have Moe page someone. Also pulled it on Principal Skinner a lot, too.

    The guy should have scanned the list and then announced that anyone to be heard just raise their hand and he would call on them.

    I remember that skit. It would not play today, since mohammedans were the butt of the joke.

    That is a funny prank.

    When I was in fifth grade, whenever we had a substitute teacher she would always hand out a single sheet of blank paper. Each student was to write their name. She collected the sheet, and this way she would know who was in the classroom and also she could ID each student. "Get to know" us.

    And every time, some rascal would write the name "Mike Hunt." Substitutes were always female. And she would call the roll, "Mike Hunt. Does anybody know where Mike Hunt is?" Us boys would be giggling up a storm.
