I started young with close to a hundred stitches, in my face and head 18 months old head on car crash and standing in the front seat and my head used As a windshield remover
Lost track of the number of stitches over my life.
To many issues to bore ever one with .
My mind thinks I am still 40 yrs old but my body feels like its 100

Nothing major, a few surgery scars, chainsaw scar, skill saw scar, scar in forehead from fellow letting a big chain swing, hook got me, none of the above were too serious but the chain saw on could have been deadly.
Of course the normal pains that go along with life.

Shot twice, blown up twice, 14 broken bones including skull, jaw, and pelvis. Third degree burns to both hands and face. Two knee surgeries, hip replacement, and facial reconstruction following the shrapnel incident that shattered my jaw. The rest was just 'minor' stuff.

Unknown fever at age 5 , Temps at 105 and had to be packed in ice for 4 days . Stuck a knife in right eye at age 4 . Crippling arthritis set in about 6 years ago . Since then 3 total knee replacements ,one total shoulder replacement . Blocked artery resulting in two heart catherizations with one stent placement . Several skin cancers . Born deaf in left ear.enlarged prostate and a benign cyst on a kidney Recently developed dry macular degeneration in my eyes. I have more but I am tired of typing for now.

I will just say I resemble a well used classic car. The usual dents, dings and scrapes are there. A few replaced, removed or modified parts, lots of miles, but still running well given the age. 🙃

I keep getting hit on by gals of all ages at the local grocery store.
Sure isn't due to my good looks but I've long been told that my smile and stunning blue eyes may just be the reason.
P.S. Without a shopping cart, I can't quite walk from one end of the store to the other. 😁

Both Knees replacement ( lots of staples) . and third surgery to knee patella (more staples). 2013/ 1017
Right shoulder reconstructed ( pushed in to a door) 5 years go.
Abdominal hernia surgery 4 times. 40 year ago Stitches in back of head contact with a pipe 1970.
Finger on right hand almost cut off from a table saw. It's there but still no feeling after 50 years.
Bayonet scar in upper lip (covered by mustache) . 1981
Fatty deposits removed from lower legs. 30 years ago
Third degree burns to both lower legs from a flash fire fell and broke thumb and 3 fingers at same time. Trigger finger is 1/8 short have had to adjust how i shoot. 15 years ago
And a few more I'm forgetting in my old age.

In 2 days I will be at the mercy of 3 women on the colonoscopy table. I hope they are gentle with me.

A brief diversion, but I have to tell it… A work friend was having a colonoscopy, and in that twilight state when he saw the screen and remarked (but doesn't remember) , "Wow, I'd like to have a copy of that!" When he was back to lucidity and ready to receive the results, the Dr. came in, put a stack of prints on the desk, and said, "Here are the prints you ordered."😂

Them thar butt exams by ladies is somewhat embarrassing adventure. Had a barium enema once, hottest looking young lady ever at the controls. Last thing she said, don't loose your grip when you step outside. Wow, did she ever know what she was talking about. grins.

when i had my colonoscopy several years ago , my nurse was my first cousins daughter who i had watched grow up. Had a testicular ultrasound exam once . Two of the most gorgeous young female techs i have ever encountered. They were both in their early twenties and hooters material

i was told by my doctor at age 48 to quit smoking or I would die because I couldn't breathe properly in a year. Then he told me ihave the body of a 83 year old man who did take care of himself. Now that I have made it to 59. I still hurt everywhere. When the doctor asked what hurts i just tell them what doesn't its a shorter list.

My left pinky finger doesn't hurt ………………………………….. that was much shorter than the list of actual problems.

We all know getting old sucks but the alternative is worse in most cases
My dad( RIP) told me when I was just a kid , at about 45 yrs old you will start noticing your body is going to start the battle of age wear and tear

I have been fortunate I guess, one minor surgery on my wrist. Pretty much everything else falls within my old saying " it'll heal up before I get married again".
Bunch of y'all are train wrecks and I'm sorry to hear that.

I was hesitant to tell my aches and pains, but itseems I am in good company. Like many of you I always thought myself ten foot tall and bullet proof. When I start thinking of the things I've had I have co,e to the conclusion that with it all I have been blessed and very fortunate. I have had jut about everything you can name. Dislocated both shoulders several times and had both repaired, about twelve stitches each. Had Diferticulitus in my thirties and discovered I was just a common mortal in my fifties.
I hadn't h ad a sick day in over twenty seven years. Had a Popliteal Anyeureism i my left leg. They cut me from crotch to ankle and took the main vein and turned it around to make an artery bypass. One hundred and forty four staples and stitches. Since then I've had Diabetes, Bladder cancer, Gall bladder removal, Kidney stones, left hip replaced twice, lost my left big toe and Macular degeneration. A few years ago I fell off the bottom step ofv a ladder and crushed my left shoulder. Got a total reverse shoulder replacement.
With all That I still feel pretty good considering. I still take care of my place, mowing, garden and general repair. I can still get er dun.
In truth I used to function really well before I went blind, deaf and crippled.😁
I do have some limitations, I can only walk for about thirty minutes in Walmart, but I can still make all day at a gun show.
