We have an old doe that usually has 2 or 3 fawns a year. She must be getting along in age because this year she only has one fawn.Every year about Christmas a big buck comes around and I see them roaming together in the fields and on trail cameras and come springtime new fawns show up.

People that live in a town have no idea of what they’re missing. There is no way I could ever live in a town again after over 50 years of living in country. Seems all the does around here gave up smoking cigarettes, now they’re all vaping.

She wasn't smoking, but she was walking kind of funny. 😁

BTW, I finally found the time to repair my camera, so maybe now I can back up my stories with evidence.

This week I have 7 deer and 12 wild turkeys in back yard.

Every Spring I have 2 does and their 4 fawns that will come up to the back deck while I am sitting there with a morning cuppa coffee. Within about 15 feet of me. I swear the Mommas are bringing me their kids to show them off. 5th year they have done that.

Our grandkids think that is really cool.

We have a doe that does the very same thing. The first year she brought her 1 fawn around several times. since then she has had twins every year. She will bring them in the backyard where there is plenty of room for them to run around and play.

It's always fun to watch them jumping and running like the devil is chasing them.
