Vivek Ramaswamy enters the fray for POTUS
He's a bit new on the scene compared to some, but from what I've read he has some following and is no stranger to politics.
Vivek Ramaswamy announces he will run for president
The "anti-woke" entrepreneur has thrown his hat into the 2024 race.
A brief perusal of his platform suggests he is a candidate I could support. He's already being labeled the "anti-woke" candidate. Whether the label is encompassing enough of his character and platform remains to be seen, but it's a characterization of a platform I am interested in supporting. I don't have super high hopes for him at this point, but he's another independently wealthy guy that likely won't easily be bought. He also appears to be pretty bright, which of course begs the question as to why he would seek the presidency. I like his background and he seems pretty relatable to me.

I was going to mention that in the other thread. Using a Chinese platform whose two purposes are to spy and give voice to all the folks trying to divide the country. Hmmm... Who benefits from increasing the amount of divisive rhetoric and setting us at each others throats? Kinda makes one think, don't it? Bob

We're probably never again going to have a legit election unless we go back to the way it was years ago. Walk into a polling station, show legitimate photo identification proving who you are and are eligible to vote, check against the voting rolls to verify one is eligible to vote, walk in, vote and leave. The only people who get an absentee ballot are those overseas and deployed military. Nuff said.

What do you mean "nothing said"? The topic was TikTok, which is controlled by the Chinese government. Yes, the likes of Facebook and Instagram and (until recently) Twitter are controlled by the US government, but we weren't talking about that because folks aren't blanketing the board here with videos from those sites. Either cease with the TikToks as you were warned or be done completely here.
