Another school shooting
Oxford high school, 4-6 injured, shooter in custody. So far no fatalities reported and I am waiting for the Sheriffs news conference. This school is only about 20 miles from our house. Some prayers for those victims would be appreciated. Bob

Dammit, just dammit. 3 fatalities and 6 injured. 15 year old shooter with a handgun. Officers responded to a 911 call and the shooter was in custody within 5 mins of the call. Wish he had put up a fight and been blown away but he surrendered peacefully. Bob

I thought you were farther north. I grew up in Waterford, brother has a butcher shop in Lapeer.

At times like these being farther north becomes more and more attractive but, like your brother, we are in Lapeer county. Which shop in Lapeer? I know there are at least a couple butcher shops there and both have pretty good reputations. I don't get into Lapeer very often because it has grown so big the last 40 years or so. Still a lot of good folks and businesses there but I hate the traffic. Bob

This country is going to Hell around us at lighting speed and the majority of our politicians, District Attorney's, Judges don't give a rip, they're too busy worrying about raising campaign funds instead of enforcing on the book laws and dishing out harsh penalties. My concern is it's going to get a lot worse very soon, so stand by and be prepared for any and everything.

These school shootings continue, and the response is the same. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the families.
Folks.....it's gonna take a lot more than just words to change things.
Yep, prayers for those kids and their families. When society decides to address the real issue, things will turn for the better.

Oh, it's getting overhauled, alright. In the opposite direction it needs to go.

Seems like it is always kids shooting kids. Usually students or former students. Very seldom does an adult storm a school.
