Doctor interviewed on Fox suggests if it is true that the Omicron variant is mild and has low death risk as it is being reported, it could be the answer to the pandemic. If a large portion of the planetary population were to contract and recover from it we would have natural immunity. Pandemic stopped.

  China and Omicron variant: As the rest of the world imposes travel bans again to contain the spread of the Omicron variant, a high transmissible coronavirus variant identified by South Africa’s genome sequencing technology, China remains comparatively calm. Zhang Wenhong, also known abroad as China’s Dr. Fauci, said that “the Omicron variant won’t exert any major impact on China currently“. Zhong Nanshan, China’s top epidemiologist, said China has no plans to take any “major action” in response to the Omicron variant. Nevertheless, China stocks slipped on Monday as concerns about the Omicron variant lingered. To be noted, the WHO said it remains unclear whether the Omicron variant causes more severe disease than other strains.

  Our government wanted to give as many possible carriers the chance to get into the country before the 'travel ban' so they very politely notified the World a few days in advance. As far as I'm concerned, anyone foolish enough to travel outside the USA should just have to stay where ever they thought was such a great place to be. Anyone not a US citizen should not be allowed to enter the country.

  GEEZ, back up to 2019. When there was talk of a ban on incoming travelers, Trump couldn't even begin to enact a travel ban until it was far too late.
