We get our news and weather out of Spokane and it sure looked like you are getting hammered over there. Pray you all stay safe.

While it's wet alright, I have seen it a lot worse. We have three ways to town, and I have seen the time all of them closed due to flooding, slides and/or timber down. Our power has blinked a million times, but only been out for a couple minutes.

That's good to hear, take care.

We have friends that live in Merritt, British Columbia. They've been flooded. Fortunately, they are wintering in Baja California.

When I lived in Duvall all the roads out of town would flood closed. I'm guessing it's like that now over there. I'll have to ask our former neighbors to see what's up.

My son lives on Whidbey Island. We haven't heard from him in a little while.

Water is over the fields and flooding by Duvall. Daughter lives between there and Woodinville and said her sprinkling can sitting outside was overflowing from the rain.

Oh the Olympic Peninsula is a wet one. I think our "official" average rainfall is 84" here. We have got more that half that amount since Sept. 24.
Then ifn it's too dry for ya here, just head north on the Peninsula. Quinault/Olympic NP 135", Hoh river valley/Forks 200". That's genuine rain forest up that direction.

I've been through that area, and yes, it's a genuine jungle, but sooo beautiful.

We here in Utah can't beg, borrow, or dance our way to rain.
