My email from the Salvation Army
They replied to my email and I feel pretty good about their response. You folks will have to make your own decision as whether to fund their work or not but I will begin to contribute again.

These are absolutely untrue and they distort the very goal of our work. We encourage you to learn more about our beliefs, and to read our full response to these claims."

Based on the stuff they left up on their site, it's clear there is much more behind the scenes. I am still out. Looks like pure garbage has infested the highest levels there.

They're not a dumb organization, like many other outfits they're just smart enough to play both sides for those nickles and dimes and Big dollars while at the same time straddling the fence. They know exactly what you want to hear by peoples direct response to such. Remember the Boy Scouts fallout ? and a few others.

Interesting information . . . but, the Red Cross is not the Salvation Army.

I am not about to stop supporting Salvation Army because of dubious info being spread on social media, presumably by hackers. And there is no comparison between Salvation Army and the Red Cross. SA salaries are quite modest.
