Crust less Pumpkin Pie

So I just cut a piece of baked pie. It was in a pie pan and NO Crust. WTHeck ,,, Invisible crust . Wife is still laughing.

  Sorry, Mom & Grand Ma didn't use a pie shell in our family. If it did, it would be pie.

  If you miss the crust that much, you could always toast some bread and make yourself a pumpkin custard sandwich! 😁

  Just took mine out of the oven about an hour ago and it has crust, wouldn't want it any other way. But it would be a surprise if it happened like OP says.
