    I have no idea. My guess is someone has to ask the time share company how much to buy out your contract. I don't know how else one goes about breaking a contract. I would think you could do that as well as they could and save their fee. But I am just guessing. There are a lot of adds around here about time share boat rental.

    My MIL has a time share. When she was putting together her will, she asked if we would like it. I politely declined.

    As for getting out of one, maybe this is a good starting point:

    Look into the court records for the county it's in & find the law firm that represents them in foreclosures. Contact them and tell them to foreclose & that you are not responsible for any further charges.
