How can we avoid bogus NR bidders
Am I the only one who is experiencing a problem with Non-Rated Bidders who never intend to pay for what they bid on? I hate to block all new bidders. I know you have to start somewhere, but it's getting out of hand and burns up a lot of time and money. GB support has not been helpful and the process your forced through to get your fees back just adds insult to injury. Checking my auction fifty times a day to try and block NR bidders seems unreasonable and when I asked that NR bidders email me before bidding, I got a flood of them bidding but not making any attempt to contact me. I have suggested to GB that they hold these folks responsible and make the consequences more of a deterrent but nothing so far. Any ideas?

We really do not have that many non paying bidders....maybe one per 1000 sales. I cannot imagine just blocking NR buyers from my sales.....anyone you block may be a great buyer and might watch your auctions each week to see what you post up for sale.

take down the NR contact you first. Invites those folks to mess with you.

I'm not counting the ammo sales we do....for some reason people do NOT understand how much it actually costs to ship ammo. I swear, every single buyer thinks you'll just toss it in a flat rate postal box and ship it for $20. HECK NO, ammo ships Fed Ex or UPS and those nut jobs have "fuel surcharges" along with other nonsense they add onto the shipping AFTER it has been delivered. A package that you think should ship for $20.....costs $35 to make a label, and once the surcharges are added it ACTUALLY costs $42 to ship.
Don't get me started on powder or primers.

With 2 or 3 NPBS out of 10 buys, one can still bid.
IMHO, the first NPB places you on probation, the second NPB your gone.
