What a beauty. Just look at the striping on the stock. One of the finer examples I've seen in a very long time. Congratulations are in order.

    Nice find.

Really do like them old hammer type guns. Started out as a grasshopper with a old 1898 Hammer type Marlin shotgun. 32 inch full choke. Took a running coyote down dead at about 60 yards and lots of ducks.

I've got a model 62 that looks almost new. I've had it for years.

Not a safe gun for those not familiar with how the hammer operates loading and unloading. Also you can dump all the shells out of the magazine tube and couple may remain inside.

I also like the 121 Remington.

I have it's big bro the 141 in 35 cal that is very accurate with 200 gr bullets..

Very nice, how was the show?

It was a really good show lots of Winchester .22s, more M-1 carbines, nice military rifles and lots and lots of people. I think because of the pandemic slowing some people were needing to get out.

HeDog gave me an invite to that show one time, and I still intend to make it someday. Long haul for me.

O.K., I'm going to tell you, but please don't tell me how crazy it is. When I was a kid I lusted after a Winchester .22 pump with a hammer and a 46 to 48 Ford coupe. I have bought several Winchesters, but no coupe. When I saw this rifle I reverted back to my childhood and price didn't matter. I gave more for it than any gun I've ever bought, but at the time it didn't seem to matter. $2,180.00

When i kick off just think about all the arguments over who gets it. Now to find that Ford or Mercury coupe.๐Ÿ˜Ž

You need a couple of Blue Tick hounds to go with it, strong flashlight and some thick woods with creeks running through it ๐Ÿ˜€. The auto senor worked hard on the name of the game animal I was trying to post but I'm sure you'll get the idea ๐Ÿ˜Š.
