Too young
Got some sad news last night. Seems my niece's daughter who is 14 had enough bullying done by her school mates and ended her journey with life of 14yrs. Nothing more to say.

We had a similar bullying suicide here in Utah recently. A 10-yo girl.
This would stop if we severely punished the bullies.

I'm so sorry. That's just unbelievably sad.
The rest of us men..... it's not going to be popular but it's time to talk HARD with our kids about whether they need a cell phone.
Social media is a cancer. It makes kids compare themselves to others. It talks them into doing stupid things. It kills their self esteem. You won't be popular but you very well might save your kids' lives if you get a FAMILY cell phone and everyone shares it.
We all grew up without one and we survived it.

Social media has increased the effects of bullying exponentially. I am sorry that your family had to experience this and you have my thoughts and prayers for overcoming this devastating loss. Bob

It was a .380 to the stomach.. Bled out no one home 11 yr old brother found her deceased .

I am so VERY sorry to hear this. I wish we could all just start telling every random kid we see how much high school doesn't matter and how life begins once you leave that behind. Young people think whatever nonsense is going on in school is going to lead to whatever happens next....and it couldn't be further from the truth for most people. A little hope is all they need to make it through those horrible years.

My wife's cardiologist's daughter took her own life about four or five years ago. She was a activist for Hillary Clinton almost joined at the hip. My wife and I noticed a change in the doctors demeanor. We knew something was terribly wrong. Let his hair grow, unkempt etc. In this area he was young and top of the heap in his field. Gave seminars, the whole nine yards. About 1.5 years ago he vanished from the face of the earth. His group would not tell us any thing. Never sent a letter out or said goodbye. My wife was his patient for almost 20 years. So much sadness for their family that is left behind.--------------------------------Ray
