I am going to guess it fell out of your pocket.

Were you a little miffed at your phone for some reason? Seems like an extreme reaction to a robocall about an extended car warranty. Bob

If you make the wife mow the lawn that wouldn't have happened..............

I had a company pager in pre-cel phone times.I couldnt get anything done because the pager was always buzzing when I was busy.I threw it out the window of the truck and was going to tell my boss that I lost it and maybe it would be a while before it was replaced. When I went back to the office at the end of the day, there was that damn pager on my desk.Someone had found it and someway traced back to the company.

No insult intended, but how badly electro-bound do you have to be that you carry a phone while you mow the lawn? You have to update your Facebook status? Play Candy Crush?

They can be handy, but you don't have to have them surgically attached to you.

None taken. I was expecting a call from a realtor. Never been on Facebook and don’t know what candy crush is.

Missed the call anyway then, huh?

Ditto on Facebook, and Candy Crush is a game - that I've never played.

Phone not missed so much as the information I had on it that wasn’t backed up.

Contacts, appointments in the calendar, maintenance info in Memo, etc.

This guy didn’t back his information.

    Don’t be like this guy.

I haven't run over my phone while riding the mower, but have killed a few beers....

The burning question seems to be why. Guys... think about it for a minute. I'm actually quite envious.

I have mine when mowing and such leaves. Then I can have music on my noise cancelling headphones. Given it’s between 2.5 - 4 hours grass/ leaves, it’s nice.

I'm certainly no techie, but you might be surprised at how much info you can recover from "the cloud". I know I was. Scary, really.

I've mowed over my cell phone and my wallet. Two different incidents. I learned to empty my pockets when I mow.

BTW, here in NE Texas, I have mowed in December.

We still had people mowing as late as last week here in Utah. Temps in the mid 60s and the grass didn't seem to realize it should be quitting. My lawn service stopped in early October, and my yard could sure use another mow. It's gonna be really something by the time they start up again nest Spring.
