As the war tension increases on the Ukraine border,The Biden administration deploys new hypersonic nuclear missiles in Germany,Do you think the MAD policy of deterrent will work on Tactical nuclear weapons? I think not, when a push comes to a shove.
Is the time for Nuclear bomb shelters is returning once again to the public eye? How many have them all ready in place and just don't talk about it?

The reactivation reveals increasing concerns among Pentagon officials that Russia has outgunned the US and NATO in Europe with advanced hypersonic weapons. There are mounting issues in the region where Russia has positioned 100k troops on the Ukraine border, and tensions between Russian-backed Belarus and Poland have resulted in waves of migrants attempting to storm Europe.
The commanding general of the artillery unit, General Stephen Maranian, said the reactivation would "provide the US Army Europe and Africa with significant capabilities in multi-domain operations."

I don't think they have deployed any missiles. Probably just getting the base out of mothballs and readying it for training.

The Army has completed the delivery of the first hypersonic weapons battery to a unit at Joint Base Lewis McChord to begin training ahead of receiving hypersonic missiles at some point in fiscal 2023.I think that projected deployment of the missile is some time in 2023. Not much of a deterrent to have a missile command with no missiles or trained personnel. Russia's 100,000 troops on the border are probably not to worried about a toothless threat of hypersonic weapons that don't exist yet. Bob
