Liberalism

I just can't put my mind around it. Many are very bright people! Their concepts just don't jive. Indoctrinated in schools or what? We have a neighbor (up here in Wisc.) who's daughter is a judge in Chicago. Our neighbor told my wife she didn't invite her daughter up here for their usual Thanksgiving turkey day. Said for the last few years it's caused nothing but consternation. Just don't get it, what a shame.

    Liberalsim is a transmitted disease and it can be terminal if not kept under control.

    I always though liberal meant anything goes. I guess it is as long as it fits their agenda.

    I think it's as much a "tunnel vision" thing as anything else. They see the world as they want it to be and don't recognize contradicting information.

    My oldest son is like that. He doesn't think bureaucrats will fail to do what's best for people because he's never dealt with one who wasn't.

    My experience is often the opposite and he doesn't give my experience any credence.

    I grew up on a wheat/milo farm in the Texas Panhandle. Saw my dad fight with too many bureaucrats over their mistakes or government mismanagement to have any faith in government flunkies.
