We have good deer hunting here in Indiana. That's up in what I call casket country. There are multiple casket manufacturers in that area.

A couple of guys from around here go to Southern Indiana every year to hunt. They say there’s some monsters out there.

The biggest I've ever killed here field dressed at 220 pounds. It's been quite awhile now but a man killed one here in the county where I lived that field dressed 302 pounds. Good genetics in the area it just gets hunted hard. We had more deer numbers a decade ago than we do now. But then we had more deer vehicle collisions too.
