I lived in MT for 4 years. The weather can be a challenge from time to time. Winters can kick your butt if you are not prepared.
My wife was born in MT. She grew tired of the winters. I was born in ID. I grew tired of the winters in the PNW. Lived in E. WA. for decades.
We are now quite content where we are in the SW. 😀
Global warming should make it better then huh??🤣
