winter trains?
several years ago someone posted a beautiful video of trains traveling through the winter snows.
i can't remember the title. maybe "winter trains", "Christmas trains"?
if anyone remembers it, or can post the video, i would appreciate it

Are you talking the trains with the rotary snow plows on the front end of them, moving massive drifts of snow off of the tracks?

Of all the narrow gage railroads that I've been on that one by far has been my favorite. You could sure hear when they lost traction.

Looked at some of the other related links on the side bar. Had to post one to wife's FB page. Clearing Donner summit, and getting buried in the avalanche in doing so. She is from south shore Tahoe and knows that whole area well.

Thanks for the memories. In my 42 years on the railroad seen a lot of snow moved. Seen rotary snow movers, but never seen one in operation, we used the wedge type with the wings.
