The ammo is out there. Otherwise, I would expect to change the spring.

I just bought a case of it on the auction side for $27/box.

Consider selling the gun and buying one in 9 MM

Yes, you can put a 9mm barrel in a .38 Super gun and expect it to shoot. I have done it. You will probably want 9mm magazines, although some brands of Super magazine will feed 9mms. Some people will tell you to change the recoil spring, but Wolff thinks they are the same rating.

Finding a barrel is the trick these day is the trick.

The major big name barrels like Kart and Barsto usually require "fitting." The cheap stuff is more likely to be "drop in."

I know the ejector is different in going from 45acp to 9mm( as, many years ago, I bought a 9mm  factory Colt conversion unit to go on a Series 70 Colt Gold Cup 45acp)..........just don't know about going from 38 Super to 9mm.

You may want to double check.

    Hope this helps.

The factory 9mm ejector is longer than the factory .38 ejector; but when my long beak 9mm ejector broke, I put in the Super part and it works fine.
