Mauser Broomhandle FFL required
My question is basically which part of a Broomhandle requires an FFL when sold.
Is it the complete upper with the bolt or is it the stripped lower ?
Thanks for your help!

Not familiar with the Broomhandle, but it will be the part with the complete serial number on it.

The frame usually has the serial number and that is the "firearm," with or without internal parts.

Thanks so far.
I have seen the lower or the frame of a broomhandle requiring an FFL to sell. Oddly enough the lower does not have the serial number .
Also the upper has the serial number and these i have seen being sold on GB as no FFL required.
Im confused and if anyone has a better understanding please let us know.
I have a bunch of parts that I want to sell but i want to be legal!
Appreciate the help!

The lower. The barrel and "upper" , which is actually the barrel and extension, are not not a controlled parts in the USA. Gunpartscorp sometimes has them available:
Mauser C96 Broomhandle Parts | Numrich Gun Parts
Shop for your Mauser 1896 Broomhandle parts and schematics today with Numrich Gun Parts. The "lower" is the firearm.
I am in no way claiming to be an expert on these pistols, but every example I have seen has a serial number stamped on the rear of the frame:
The fact that the serial number appears on other components simply makes the pistol "matching" and in no way means that those parts are controlled.

Thanks Mark,
will be listing the upper parts.

Part #23 is the receiver. Numrich does not sell receivers. Look it up in their catalog- the one part that they do not even list is Part #23. Not "out of stock"- just not listed at all.
