Never to that extreme, but I've transported some ridiculous things on a motorcycle.
Back when that was my primary mode of conveyance. Didn't seem strange at the time. Or now, really.

Were all you folks born with a pick-up, a SUV and a pocket full of cash? The gas price on the sign is $3.65. Riding that scooter is what allowed him to save up enough for the TV.
