It's people looking for a problem to beotch about. If that's they way they want it, then fine, let's remove all street signs such as MLK, Caesar Chavez, Rosa Parks and all of the other people that have been celebrated/remembered from the past. I hope that Indian and Savage go tell them to pound sand, the people that support them most likely don't give 2 poops about what the little whiners say.....

The quote from the Canada Motoguide about the world becoming more PC friendly is BS. If anything the world has become PC oppressive. No matter what you do somebody will express fake outrage just to get attention and feel important. If someone could show actual injury or damages from these so called cultural appropriations, I'd be amazed. Whatever happened to America being the great melting pot? If that was true how can you be accused of any cultural appropriation because all of our cultures are supposed to be blended. Do American Indians freely use other cultures advancements like medicine, vehicles, tech or anything else? If they do, then they have nothing to complain about someone respectfully using the names like, Indian, Braves, Chiefs, etc... Bob

To borrow from Dickens "A Modest Proposal" a sardonic suggestion might be to eradicate all indigenous peoples from North America, thus leaving nobody who might be offended.

I read that the USN is going to remove the "Chief" from Petty Officer. This is getting out of control.

    😒

It's outrage porn. These people get a thrill from it and run around constantly looking for another hit.

If I was a Indian I would consider Indian motorcycles and Savage firearms a compliment. A movement to change the names would be offensive.

It was only a matter of time for Savage, you could see it coming but they should have dug in their heals and said F.O. !

That logo was meant to honor, not disparage.

There is no talking to the left wing mob, reason does not enter into it.

Savage Arms was founded in 1894 by Arthur Savage in Utica, New York. Do his descendants have to change their name?
