S&W Mod. 38 airweight hammerless value?
Has a chrome finish, very good cond't, orig. box, mfg. aprox. 1988. Can't find much on this. Thanks

You need to give us more information. Such as,
Is there an N stamped on the bottom of the barrel, back of cylinder, & frame under a grip? (N for factory nickel, chrome hasn't been used for many years .)
What is the model number (inside the frame, visible when the cylinder is opened?
Percent of finish remaining? Type grip, & what is marked on the back of both grips?

If you mean the model 37 and it is nickel with box which adds and is really clean, I am saying at the high end of 900-1k. retail. imo

Ahh yes, that's why I am not an expert. 800 seems fair for that one IF you are in the market , the high end market.
