Best under $1000. I would find a gently used Zeiss. They have an unlimited and transferable lifetime warranty.

Pretty much what Warbirds said. My M99 came with a factory mounted 10X Swarovski scope that has range marks specifically for the 50 BMG cartridge from 500-2000 yards. Barrett quit that option shortly thereafter, because the money exchange rate made it an expensive option.
Also check out used Leupolds, but whatever brand you end up with, I would be sure to get a scope ranged for the 50 BMG round.

Maybe a Leupold Mark 5, friend has a 4 on one and it has held up well as far as I know.

When Barrett sells a package gun it is always a Leupold Mark 4, at least it has for the past 10-15 years. My only gripe is their selection, the last package 99 we got had a 4.5-14 power on it, most people buying a .50 want higher magnification.

That scope is above most people’s budget . Play with Barrett’s you need your big boy pants on…..lol
