So I joined up here back in 2008. I remember just how wild and rowdy this place was back then. I'm just curious. How many members were there back then and how many members do we have now??

  Around 1999 or 2000 for me I think. It was wild and woolly as someone said earlier.

  Earl a true classic he sure kept the place hopping among others and of course the Doctor ( what ever his user name was) and his cancer story had a lot of pulled down the rabbit hole truly feeling sorry for him but in the end passed awy due to it last I seen posted about him .

  
  

  I do miss some of the real craftsman that use to visit some amazing photos of the work some in stone, some in wood, some with leather working and of course in pumpkin . too name a few

  Tapwater, (Dale), made me an awesome branding iron. It hangs over our grill hut. I use it to stamp our steaks. Great guy

  He was from an area in Ill. that I did alot of pheasant hunting in back in the day. Hope all is well with him.

  I lurked on here for 10 years before I mustered up the courage to join. So many have come and gone. I was just thinking the other day about JamesRC, I think his handle was. He was a former Naval officer and a gentleman.His wife passed a while back and he did not post much after that.
