Keep trying. Look for corporate information for contacts above customer service.

Most bolt actions I have started out as stiff. Can you explain more the gouges. Are they on the bullet or the brass

OAL would matter. You wrote the gouges are in the bullet not the case?

Factory ammo? Post on their Facebook page politely requesting a return and inspection

I would be measuring the brass before installing it in the chamber. Rounds should fall out of the chamber when loaded by hand. Sounds like a bolt issue.

Even if you find the issue to be ammo that doesn't change the problem with CS not responding.

Sure sounds like your ammo has bullets that are seated WAY too long and bullets are being forced into the rifling.

I have a new sauer 100 xt in 270 win, does the same dam thing, awaiting the warranty from sauer usa in texas, tryed 3 different factory ammos, have to slam bolt shut when cartridge is chambered. i have reloaded for 20 years and it is not the brass in factory ammo.

Sure sounds like a headspace problem to me. Can you get access to go/no go gauges? Don't be too quick to blame ammo.———————Ray

Was thinking of getting Sauer 100. Some good price right now. But might rethink this.
