I'm not expecting much at all from 2022. That way, I won't be disappointed.
A pessimist is rarely disappointed and leaves the option open to occasionally be pleasantly surprised. Although a pessimist realizes that things average out and a pleasant surprise is often followed by something we would rather avoid. For instance, Hillary lost but then we got Geriatric Joe. Bob

I hope not. I want my life back. Honestly, at age 61, I'm running out of years. I can't waste any more of my life huddled inside my house and behind a mask.

That picture is right on. I thought 2020 was bad and couldn't get any worse and then 2021 came along and my world came crashing down around me. I dread seeing what's coming in 2022. I learned to never say "it can't get any worse than this" 'cause it can and will!!
I feel like General Custer and there's 10,000 Indians waiting for me just on the other side of a hill but I just don't know which hill it is yet but I do know for sure it's one of them and it's near. I can faintly hear the drums beating already.
