The one I can't wrap my head around is 10mm sockets.
How in 'ell do guys lose 10mm sockets? I'm nearing 61 years old, and I've never lost one. Onliest tool I've ever had problems with is 1 1/8" wrench to change torch bottles with.
Use to have trouble with drill bits, but that cleared up when I kicked the ex out. I have sense enough not to try drilling lathe and plaster walls with HSS bits.

10 mm and 1/2 inch. Gone. I think they should sell them in a six pack.

i spend a much smaller part of my time in the blue area giving me a much larger red area that also reduces the size of all the other areas.

Well, I am different. I use my tools often and my shop has everything automotive, wood, and much more. I can find them instantly.
My problem is finding parts and hardware for my projects I have placed somewhere.

Lost a tool? Wait till you lose a chip from a Rare 1936 Model 37 Winchester bull nose fore end stock. Never ever blow against the grain in a wood stock with high pressure. Check snow blower auger, lawn tractor, lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blower, getting the picture? Finally gave up and moved everything out of garage onto asphalt. Did I mention I have a brick floor in garage with you know cracks between bricks. Still looking for that damn chip years later !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.-------------------Ray

The older I get, the more time I spend out in the garage drinking beer and enjoying nature with the door open! I can honestly admit that the large red area of my pie chart is spent doing just this! 🙂

I just bought an extra 10 - 3/4 sixpoint 3/8 drive sockets and 10 - 10mm sixpoint sockets in 1/4 drive just because of this very problem.
I had to go get an extra set of door keys because I lost the keys to the motorhome. I drove myself nuts looking for those for half a day.

Sounds as if I'm not the only one with a black hole in my garage..............🙄
My sons just "helped" their poor ol' dad by cleaning his shop. Very proud of themselves for blowing about a half ton of dust, etc out the door.
Now if I could just find my oscillating sander . . .

That pie chart is pretty close to me and the barn. The big difference is that the blue slice would be MUCH smaller. 😁

Mine looks like a bomb went off, but I know where everything is at..........except that damn 10mm socket. Not Joking.

I once dropped a 8mm wrench while removing a valve cover on a 3.0 Renger pickup. I found it several hundred miles later laying on the frame.
10mm, on the other hand get lost and stay lost. :-)

I can lose a socket IN my tool box! A quite small Craftsman metal box with a top tray. All sockets start out in an organized row but over time end up all over the top and bottom of that darn silver\gray pit that I believe was designed by a gal named Pandora!!

10mm sockets????.....not much of a problem.....although I DO have a "few".
Now let's talk 7/16 ths sockets!!!!......those problems go back a "few" decades!!!!!! :) :)
