Yep, most likely. There weren't a lot of choices back in those days, and McCulloch was top dog pretty much.
As an aside, I know the nephew of the fella who invented chainsaw chain (as we know it) and founded the Oregon company.

FYI - They weighed in at about 30 lbs. > Miss Smith is a HEALTHY girl !

Chips aren't flying but what are, are huge! Big bite on the chain and lots of hp to pull it through.

I have an I-43 Mac from the 50's that still runs.

No heels , her left foot is flat on the ground, right foot she is on her toes

I cannot see her left foot but she clearly has a shoe on right, may or may not be heel as it isn't shown...
