Back in the good old days at the gun counter I saw this happen a lot. It seemed to be normal that someone would put down a thousand bucks or more on a firearm and then buy the cheapest plastic case we had in stock. I have actually seen the egg crate pattern from the cheap foam imprinted on the firearm in a rust pattern. I tried to tell people the case was just for transportation and not storage, but some just don't listen. I am glad the 1100 only got a bad case of the freckles because I have seen it happen a lot worse. Bob

She needs a quality refinish but that would be hard to duplicate. A great shooter right now and it still will bring a fair sum, imo.
