One of the hazards of us seasoned people. I beat my cancer this year, I hope you have the same results.

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. Hopefully it was caught early enough thanks to my annual lung scan provided at no charge by Medicare. I guess even the government gets it right once in a while.

That sucks man. I remember when you told us about your beautiful new bride. You know, you have a great reason to beat this deal.

Prayers said for a speedy recovery

I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. I seriously hope to hear continued great news as you go through treatment. You are a very strong person and you have people that care for you dearly....you've got this!

Iff you caught it early enough it is just a major inconvenience. Let's hope and pray. Don

D-con is correct.(hard to say but it's true) A friend of mine was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer early last year. he basically took this as a death sentence.( i tried to make him feel better but based on what I've read I kind of agreed) The doctor said they caught it very early and was optimistic. Lots of radiation treatments and an operation that removed most of the pancreas and almost a year later he says he feels great(he lost over 100lbs) and is going back to work. Docto says he thinks he beat it. There is hope stick with it and I'll pray for you.

It is shocking when the Dr says, " We have the biopsy result and it was positive" you look! and the doc says "You have CANCER."

I have been there twice since 2017, I was 77. Throat and then prostate. One adventure after another. Chemo, radiation, hormone therapy and more radiation. In my experience I had wonderful medical care and support of friends and prayers. I am now 81 yrs old, play golf and tennis several days a week, trim trees and more. Momma Bear won't let me on a ladder anymore (she is not always looking) and I can't sing soprano (never could really). Take it head on! God Bless! Life is good!

I had the big "C" back in 2011.....stage 1 seminoma.....surgery and chemo.....good to go now, almost 11 years later. One of my cousins has stage 4 prostate cancer now........I hope he does ok.

It can be beaten...........positivity and prayer really influence the course.
