After you put its 410 mate up for sale I dug in the back of one of the safes and found mine that is its twin. I had forgot how much I liked that little gun and thought for Christmas I just might put in a few bids on the 28 so I'd have a matching set. Why, oh why did someone put a poly on that cute little gun? There is nothing really wrong with the poly and adding just a little weight to the end of the barrel can improve the swing, but it wouldn't match my 410. Oh well, I should spend the money on ammo anyway or maybe something for the boss cause she deserves it.
I saw what the 410 went for and thought it did pretty good. Bob

Agree Bob, the poly choke really hurt a wonderful gun IMO. Hopefully Ricci will do well with it..

What is really sad is that about 15 years ago at the Grand American I found a 28ga Winchester mod 12 skeet on vendors row. Yupp, you guessed it, someone had cut the barrel and put on a poly.😡 Those that like/collect mod 12s know how hard it is to find a good 28ga skeet version. I have given up on owning a mod 12 28ga because the real ones, not cobbled together fakes, now cost a small fortune. I've got 20s, 12s and even 3 model 42s but no 28ga. That is why I perked up when Ricci said he was going to list the 28 Wingmaster only to have my hopes dashed again. This gun collecting could drive a man to drink! Bob

Start collecting guns with poly chokes. Then Cutts Compensators. Then other brands. Of course, you'll still have to watch out for fakes.
