dx/dt is symbology for a "derivative", the slope of a line. In this case it's "x" over "t" so a line showing change in position over change in time is... velocity.
d²x/dt² is the 2nd order derivative. It's the derivative (slope) of the first derivative (velocity). So the change of a velocity over time is...... the acceleration.
d³x/dt³ is the 3rd order derivative. It's the slope of the acceleration, the change in acceleration over time..... or the "jerk".
